The Minster College Training Initiative is a pathfinder construction project as part of the government’s ‘Building Schools for the Future’. It is due for completion by 2010 on the Minster site.
The Mission of The Minister College Initiative is to provide greater opportunities for young people and adults in development and training activities. This will address skills gaps; improve workforce performance and productivity leading to world class standards.
As a part of this initiative, Stepnell, the Construction company responsible for the new build as well as all involved sub-contractors are offering:
- site visits
- work experience (normal and extended)
- work shadowing opportunities for learners within the county
- professional briefings and visits for staff
These opportunities are also extended out to the wider community for anyone to take advantage.
If you would like to take advantage of any of these opportunities then please contact:
