images included in RSS feeds - december 06
if you are already using the RSS feeds of the events, then you
will have noticed that event images are now included in the
details. This allows you to see a small image of the event along
with the details, location and dates. If you have no idea what RSS
feeds are, then see the
help pages for
more information on using RSS feeds.
event posters - november 06
if you have uploaded events, or are an event moderator, then you
now have the ability to create a simple one page poster for your
event. The button is located on the 'Event Details' page, within
'My Events'. You can choose a title for your poster, which might be
something like 'Coming Soon....' or 'This Saturday....' and then
the event details and image are transformed into a poster. From
here you can save or print this poster out to help promote your
event.
rss feeds - october 06
myherefordshire.com now has RSS feeds available for the events.
There are three RSS feeds available, one for 'All events', one for
'Events this month' and one for 'Events this week'. They can be
found on the
events page,
identified by the RSS logo 
, and these feeds enable you to stay up-to-date
with what is happening around Herefordshire without actually
visiting the website. For example you can view the RSS feeds
on certain mobile phones, and PDAs, allowing you to find out
about events when you are away from your main computer. See
