Burghill Community Access Point
The Burghill Community Access Point (CAP) will open from mid September. We have computers, printers, broadband link, a host of software packages and many other IT resources. As a member of the Burghill community you can use this equipment and resources FREE at the Simpson Hall.
We are opening the the Burghill CAP "DROP IN CENTRE" in the Simpson Hall twice weekly - times and days to be arranged (We will publish these in the Parish Magazine). In addition to this some equipment will be available at the church "Coffee Mornings". Do drop in if you would like help and advice or would like to use the equipment, access the internet or email someone.
We are also organising 'Silver Surfer' beginners training so if you would like to know what this entails please contact Ray on 01432 769333 (E-desk).
In addition to the computer equipment we have video equipment for you to learn video techniques with movies and stills, music equipment with editing software and PA, 8 foot large screen for video display, private film parties or computer training courses, VHS to DVD copying equipment, Vinyl to CD copying equipment and computer games on PC and Wii for community tournaments on the large screen.

The fair takes place on Thursday September 16th at the Shire Hall, St Peter's Square, Hereford from 10am to 3pm. There will be more than 30 different local employers recruiting on the day including Argos, Cargill (Sun Valley), Amey, Sainsbury and Morrisons.

Herefordshire Council is warning motorists that the A4112 Leominster to Tenbury road will be closed to traffic from Tuesday, August 24 for four days. The closure is to allow the council's contractors Amey to carry out anti-skid surfacing works on Raddle Bank.
