A day of Celtic fun and learning. Dig up a pretend chariot burial, plan archaeological layers, go behind the scenes at the museum and explore real Celtic artefacts. Create Celtic art. Have your face painted as a Celt and take part in Celtic warrior races, as Queen Boudicca or King Caratacus. Certificates issued to all budding archaeologists. Refreshments on site, space to eat packed lunches. Suggested time for visit is 2 hours. Parking in nearby car parks at Greyfriars car park, off Barton Road and The Military Club car park on Friars street.
